In this haunting and symbolic piece, Mary Magdalene is the  keeper of forbidden lineage and esoteric knowledge — the sacred feminine woven into the hidden threads of European occult history.

Her eyes gaze with sorrow and knowledge, aware of the weight of secrets buried around.

At her shoulder rests a skull, the memento mori, a traditional attribute of Mary Magdalene — here symbolizing contemplation of mortality, but also gnosis and the passing of hidden wisdom across generations. From it grows a blue flower, delicate and otherworldly, representing both hope and secrecy — blooming from death, feeding on silence.

She wears the Fleur-de-Lys, emblem of both purity and royal bloodlines — notably tied to the Merovingians and the Priory of Sion. Alongside it, a heraldic crest shows two bears chained to a tree — a rare symbol that references the “cutting of the elm”, the legendary split between the Templars and the Priory of Sion — an esoteric rupture whose implications ripple through history and myth.

To the right, perched atop the hill, is the René-le-Château abbey, its window lit with golden mystery. The abbey — central to countless legends involving hidden treasure, sacred bloodlines, and Rosicrucian inheritance — stands as an anchor for all that this piece conjures.

Above her glows the black star, haloed in ethereal blue — a guiding force from beyond, or a symbol of exiled divine wisdom.
